Disease Signatures to support patient care

At Modality Dx, we’ve developed molecular Signatures to support patient care. A molecular Signature is a collection of biomarkers that provide more information on a specific disease to support disease prediction and risk assessment.

Disease identification and prediction

Molecular Signatures are a breakthrough in science to help providers more accurately identify diseases in their patients. Biomarkers are often elevated before symptoms occur. The ability to use our molecular Signatures to help identify disease earlier means treatment protocols can begin earlier to help support patient health and quality of life.

In some cases, our molecular Signatures can also help predict the risk of disease in a patient. In this fashion, Signatures offer a screening-like capability. If the biomarkers in our Signature show risk for the disease, it is a positive indication that more testing is warranted to support the patient. In addition to helping define the need for more testing, disease risk prediction with Modality Dx Signatures also provide an opportunity for patient’s to adopt lifestyle changes earlier, before more aggressive and expensive disease treatment is needed. This saves the patient money, while helping to keep overall healthcare costs low.
